Diabetic coma much?
I don't think there is anything better than being a teacher on holidays like Valentine's and Christmas.
This year, I literally have the best group of parents a teacher could ask for!

Life in Red and Pink!

Thanks Gitz for the awesome Valentine's Doodle!

Today is such a special day in so many ways. Not only is it a day to celebrate the love with have for one another, I actually have a reason to wear as much red and pink as I can! For the last few years I've worn something red or pink everyday leading up till V-Day. Seeing as I forgot this tradition this year, I'll be doing it this week. Still counts right?!

However, I can't wait for tomorrow. My sisters (My amazing small group friends) and I are having a Friendship party. This is sure to include yummy treats and lots of laughing!

Come back for the recap tomorrow!

I leave you with this:

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. - John 13:34-35

Life in the Doghouse

How can you not love this face?

That's the love of my life/security system, Bindi Lou.

Some of her likes:
1-Eating
2-Running
3-Snuggling
4-Chewing my sheets (Weird, I know)

Dislikes:
1-When I'm at work for over 12 hours (one of my dislikes too!)
2-New people (although she is getting better)
3-The dinging sound on Wheel of Fortune

A little Bindi story:

Last night I was in the bathroom getting ready to take a shower and I left the tv on in the living room. I jump into the shower and start to get my hair wet. Over the sound of the water, my music, and the fan, I hear B barking up a storm. She NEVER barks, so I immediately panic and think someone is in my house! I quickly hop out of the shower, throw on my robe, and run out into the living room.

Yep, Wheel of Fortune happened to be on. No need to panic! Just needed to change the channel. Talk about heart attack! What I was thinking running out in my robe, I'll never know. Note to self: Don't leave the TV on ABC at 6:30.

Life in the Coffee Shop

I enjoy spending a few hours in coffee shops. They are such great places to people watch. Today I saw a group of older men sitting around discussing life and drinking coffee. One of the men had his cell phone out and was texting on it, which is hilarious in its own right! Another guy told him to put it away and proceeded to tell him that it was "just plan rude" to be on his phone while he was with his friends. And everyone tells us we're the "rude generation" I guess not so much anymore!

I also got to indulge in my favorite treat! The drink that makes my day!

"It's like they took a slice of pumpkin pie, threw it in a blender, dumped it in a cup, added whipped cream and told me to drink it!" So yummy!
