“The true Christmas bathes every little thing in light and makes one cookie
a token, one candle, one simple pageant more wonderful than anything seen on stage or screen.”
-Garrison Keillor from Lake Wobegon Days
First off, let me say that Christmas 2011 was one of my favorites in recent memory.
I don’t know if it was because we were all together. (minus brother Matt and his family.) If it helped that we were all on one house or because we all had vacation time and no one had to work.
Whatever it was, it made for one amazing Christmas.
I apologize now for the awful quality of some of these pictures. Most were taken with my phone’s camera.
Thanks to some super generous parents, I now own one of these!
After sneaking Bindi into the hotel room in El Paso, she spent most of the night under the covers. This was only the beginning of a looooong trip for my poor puppy!
Let the games begin! No Schultz Family Christmas would be complete without Spinners. We fight to the death to win ridiculous prizes and bragging rights.
Nathan modeling his new slippers.
I have some of the cutest nieces and nephews known to man.
Ah, togetherness! It still counts as quality time when you’re on the same piece of furniture, right?
I love this picture.
I have no clue what we’re talking about but I’m sure we solved at least two world problems.
There you have it, Christmas 2011.
How did you spend yours?
