As I’ve stated many many times, I have the best girlfriends a lady could ask for.
It has been almost six years since graduating from college and I’ve stayed in touch with many of my friends. There is one group in particular that will always be near and dear to my heart. For the last few years, we’ve gotten together every year. We’ve mostly gone to weddings or we’ve been in the weddings of our friends.
This year no one was getting married, so we decided to have a Mini-break back in our old college stomping grounds. We came from DC, Vegas, Milwaukee and Phoenix and took Chicago by storm!
Strap in for a long post full of pictures!
We love Flat Top Grill!
The L never changes!
Katie and Bethany taking a break in Crate and Barrel.
Anne checking if the lamp works!
Cheesecake factory for dinner.
I earned the nickname “Urban Princess” because of my choice of non-touristy clothing!
A title I proudly wore!
I just love the city all dressed up for Christmas. Anne and Katie got into the spirit!
We stopped at the Christkindl Market which is an amazing Bavarian Tradition.
Vendors come from Germany and other countries from Thanksgiving until Christmas Eve and set up shop outside in true Bavarian Style!
Rows and rows of gorgeous ornaments.
I bought all four of us handmade nativity ornaments for our trees.
On Saturday we spent the morning at our Alma Mater.
We took pictures in front of the pillars, which are the hallmark of our school.
Too bad no one let us into our old dorm rooms!
Life in a Chicago Pizzeria!
Not a fan of mushrooms!
The biggest reason for our reunion. Our university puts on one great Christmas service!
Thanks for a great weekend, ladies!
