Life in June: Three Things I Wish I Knew

Catch up with all the fun here!

29things

Do you ever look back at your childhood and think Man, I wish I hadn’t stopped doing that. Or, Why didn’t I take that class? Yeah, me too. I don’t regret many things in my life, it’s not worth it, but today I have three things I wish I could do.

Number 26: I wish I could still play the piano.

When anyone asks me if I have regrets in my life, this is it. I had a couple friends in college who could sit down at a gorgeous grand piano, without music, and play for hours. We would congregate around the piano and sing along. Why is this not my life?

Number 25: I wish I could draw.

There’s nothing to explain here. I think it would be cool.

Number 24: I wish I could turn a cartwheel.

We had a huge yard growing up which was perfect for turning millions upon millions of cartwheels. In fact, my friends would come over and show off in front of me. You know those girls who would have these semi-planned gymnastic routines that they could perform at the drop of a hat. Yeah, I grew up with them. Made me so jealous. Still does. Damn cartwheels.

I really wish I could play piano better as well. I can do simple stuff, but just sitting down and playing whatever - sigh. I'm jealous of people like that. I wish I could play my guitar too.

I wished I could play the piano or at least the guitar, but my mom decided that I was not musical, so I didn't get to play an instrument besides the recorder in elementary school.

Have you ever tried charcoal drawing? Believe me, you will be able to draw with that!!

I wish I could speak Spanish. I am still kicking myself for not doing it in college and taking sign language instead.

Love this! I wish I could still play piano, too. I know there is no hope for me drawing, though! New follower from the GFC blog hop! :)
