My favorite book happens to be a “children’s” book.
I’m a little attached to Anne of Green Gables.
My sister in law gave me the boxed for Christmas years ago. I cried.
Like ugly cry, guys.
The other day I was wandering around Barnes and Noble trying to spend a $25 gift card. It’s hard to spend a gift card in a book store when you have a Kindle and you can buy anything you want with the click of a button.
I was going for something classic and perhaps hardcover.
I turned the corner and what do I see?
It was like the Holy Grail, people.
I think it may have even sang to me!
Gorgeous and only $10!
B&N has this new section of classic children’s lit for some pretty decent prices.
After I had the book of my dreams in my hot little hands, I walked to another shelf.
BAM!

Anne of Green Gables is the best! I have the entire series, as well as the movies, which, of course, aren't nearly as good as the books, but I still love being able to "see" Matthew and Marilla, Diana, Gil, and Anne.
That's a big jump between Anne of Green Gables and the Kardashians but I suppose they're both dreams worlds. Stopping by from Meg's Mingle Monday.
Love Anne of Green Gables!
