Life in the Kitchen

AND I’M BACK!

After a long hiatus, I feel like my blog-spiration is back in full swing.

Today I’m bringing you one of my favorite sandwiches. It’s pretty much a staple around these parts. 

Another staple around here is giving things silly names, it only heightens the culinary experience.

Behold, The Cali Sandi (Aka…California Sandwich)

Quick, Easy, and Super Yummy.

Ingredients (Serves 2):

*Everything Bagels

*Chive and Onion Cream Cheese

*5-10 Cherry Tomatoes

*One Avocado

*Cilantro

*Sprouts (If you can find them, I couldn’t this time around!)

*Olive Oil (optional)

*Salt and Pepper to taste

*Half the tomatoes

*Rough dice the avocado

*Finely chop the cilantro

*Toss with olive oil, salt and pepper.

*Toast your bagel

*Lightly spread the cream cheese on both sides (Probably my favorite part!)

*Add the “salad”

*Add sprouts (If you’re using them)

*Enjoy!
