Life on the Walls

Since moving to a new place and starting a new job, I haven’t had a whole lot of time or energy to finish off my decorating.

I’m hosting a party in a few weeks so it was now or never.

Heaven forbid I still have empty walls when all my sisters come over!

I’ve been inspired by this picture from Pinterest for awhile now.

Pinned Image

I had picked out some fabric and was ready to buy some embroidery hoops.

I opened up one of my decor boxes and remembered that I had found these chunky frames from G’will months ago.

Wall1

I’ve been coveting a white frame picture wall for years now.

Light bulb moment!

I really wasn’t in the mood to spend more money so these were the answer!

The middle section wasn’t doing it for me.

Out came my friend Mr. Screwdriver!

I cut the fabric to size and hot glued it to the back of the frames.

Wall4

I laid out all my frames on the floor to get an idea of what I wanted on the wall.

What started out as this on Saturday afternoon,

Turned into this by Sunday!

One trip to the Dollar store and ten more frames later my wall art was complete!

I’m so happy that I didn’t go with the hoops.

All the frames may not be straight or level, but it’s done and I’m in

LOOOOOOVE!

There are pictures of people who mean the world to me and of my family farm. (Which I took!)

I’m going to change out the Subway art for each season.

What do you think?
